Dental bridges at Project Dental
Traditional dental bridges are a great tooth replacement option for patients with 2 existing stable teeth on either side of the missing tooth. Crowns are placed on both of the stable teeth, with a custom bridge then fixed to the 2 crowns to replace the missing tooth.
For patients with multiple missing teeth, implant-supported bridges use dental implants to stabilize surrounding teeth to which the dental bridge is then fixed.
In either case, dental bridges provide an effective solution to replacing teeth in a healthy and sustainable way.
Getting started with dental bridges
Discuss with you any issues you’ve been experiencing or questions you need answering.
Take x-rays, an Intraoral scan for a digital 3D impression of your teeth, and CT scans if necessary.
Prepare your neighboring teeth to anchor your custom dental bridge restoration.
Measurements are taken to ensure a custom fit and color match, with a temporary bridge placed while your custom restoration is made
A finished custom-made bridge is bonded to your teeth for a permanent restoration.
